Insight Renewed

Online therapy for adults ready to understand why.

Understanding the patterns underneath stress, trauma, burnout, and major life transitions.

Sometimes the problem is not a lack of insight. It’s recognizing that the ways you learned to cope, adapt, or survive no longer fit the life you’re living now. Therapy offers a space to understand why those patterns developed and begin changing them intentionally.

Who I work with

Adults Navigating Trauma & Burnout

Sometimes the ways you learned to cope, adapt, or push through were necessary. But living that way for too long has a cost.

Your stress tolerance narrows. Rest stops feeling restorative. You find yourself more reactive, more emotionally exhausted, or carrying a level of tension that never fully powers down.

At some point, your system stops asking for rest nicely.

Therapy offers a space to understand those patterns and begin changing them in ways that feel more sustainable and connected to the life you're trying to live now.

Women in Perimenopause & Menopause

Sleeping worse. Reacting harder. Feeling less like yourself.

The anxiety that came out of nowhere. The stress tolerance that disappeared. Going to the doctor,  maybe more than once,  and still feeling like the answers don't fully fit what you're experiencing.

Your body is shifting, and this stage of life is still under-recognized and often poorly explained.

That's where we start. Making sense of what's happening and learning how to reconnect with yourself in the middle of it.

Veterans & Military-Connected Adults

The military trained your nervous system for mission and threat. It did not train you for what to do with that system afterward or even while you're still in it.

That gap has a cost, and most people don't realize how much until they're already paying it.

As a Navy veteran and former VA clinician, I've worked closely with service members across branches and understand the culture, pressure, and wear-and-tear that can be difficult to explain to clinicians outside those systems.

My approach

Therapy is a relationship.

Before anything else, I want to understand who you are — not just what brought you in, but where you came from, what shaped you, and how all of it connects.

The things that happened years ago, the roles you learned to play, the ways you learned to survive — they don't stay neatly in the past. They show up in your relationships, your reactions, your work, your body, and your sense of self.

Understanding that full picture is where the real work begins.

From there, we build goals around what you actually need and want — and those goals can shift as you do.

Some sessions will be heavy. Some will be lighter. Some may even surprise you.

I keep the work focused, flexible, and connected to where you said you wanted to go.

The goal is not endless insight or overanalyzing your life. It's meaningful change in how you function, respond to stress, connect with others, and experience yourself day-to-day.

My style is thoughtful, direct, grounded, and compassionate. I believe therapy works best when people feel both emotionally understood and intellectually respected — not reduced to a diagnosis, talked down to, or pushed into oversimplified answers.

Therapy does not have to feel performative, overly clinical, or emotionally polished all the time. Sometimes it means reflection and difficult conversations. Sometimes it means humor, honesty, directness, or laughing at the absurdity of things in life.

About Becca

I've been drawn to understanding people for as long as I can remember. What makes them tick, how they got here, why they do what they do.. That curiosity never gets old — and it's what makes this work feel less like a job and more like something I was built for.

I'm a licensed therapist and Navy veteran with clinical experience across crisis intervention, trauma, substance use, and behavioral health — including four years at the VA working with veterans across the full spectrum of mental health challenges, and time embedded with active duty sailors through the Department of Defense.

I've worked with people across a wide range of backgrounds, from professionals and executives to court-ordered clients, from acute crisis to long-term trauma work.  That experience has given me a deep respect for just how different — and how universal — the human experience really is.

I also specialize in working with women navigating midlife — the identity shifts, the hormonal transitions, and the moment when everything that used to work suddenly doesn't. As a woman navigating this stage of life myself, I bring both the research and the lived reality of what this transition can demand.
